Understanding the genetic component of immune disease require analysis of specific region in the human genome. We have developed and published multiple immunogenetic tools that aims to further ease the analysis of the constantly-growing sequence data. In the development process, we also take into consideration the accessibility and reproducibility of the tools, as setting up a software environment is no easy task. We have containerized most of our bioinformatics software with the help of Singularity as our container platform. We aim to provide tools that enable high throughput analysis of large datasets that otherwise are not accessible with currently available tools.
Project includes:
- Pushing Immunogenetics to the Next Generation (PING) - a KIR genotyper
- MHConstructor - a de-novo assembler for the major histocompatibility complex region of the human genome
- Characterization of the LRC region
- C4Investigator - a copy number estimator for the C4 region
- Bridging ImmunoGenomic Data-Analysis Workflow Gaps (BIGDAWG)
- Integrated data exchange, storage, and analysis
